little things that actually make a difference to general life happiness:
•drinking lots of water
•eating fresh fruit
•thinking positively about yourself and others
•washing your face twice a day
•changing your sheets once a week
•hot baths with Epsom salts
•face masks using from things in your house
•sleeping more than 7 hours per night
•reorganizing your clothes, makeup, possessions etc
•keeping your living space clean
I apologize if this is triggering for anyone but here are some ramblings and im embarrassed but whatever
Aubrey, this moved me to tears. I’ve never heard someone so succinctly say why BED and eating disorders overall fuck with your mind so much.
Also I completely echo your sentiments on getting help. I have an ego the size of a planet but admitting that I couldn’t do it alone made such a difference.
I’m not 100% recovered, and I still have ugly days, but recovery is so amazing. It’s the best feeling in the world. It’s so worth it. Being able to eat a meal, or grocery shop, or go out to a restaurant without insane anxiety is so incredibly freeing.
Big hugs and good vibes to you Aub ♥♥♥
Thanks for sharing Aubs ❤️❤️❤️
This is so raw and vulnerable. Aubrey, thank you for speaking out like this. You’re incredible for being able to do that, and for continuing to make progress in your recovery. Sending love.
I love you guys so much. I was not planning on getting so emotional but were in this together. And well get through it together <3
Let me tell you something: recovering from an eating disorder is a much bigger accomplishment than having an eating disorder.
